A very pleasant place to visit
Wyanga Park Winery的点评
点评：While staying in Lakes we did the winery cruise to the WYANGA Park Winery. We booked the day before and at 11am. we boarded the Peels Cruises Stormbird.
That took us up the North Arm to the winery jetty and from there it was a bus trip up the steep track to the venue.
They were very welcoming, nice place and there was an open fire going in the bar area, that was very nice.
We did the wine tasting with another couple who happened to be from the same accommodation place as us and then we sat down for the cheese platter and lunch with them as well, great company.
We tasted about 8 of their wines, quite chirpy after that .
The lunch was lovely, three of us had the delicious seafood chowder and the other the fish and chips, very enjoyable.
I had a lovely milkshake as well, very nice after all that wine.
The young lady who did the wine tasting was excellent, very friendly and cheerful and knowledgeable.
We also learnt a bit about the family who started the place over 50 years ago, it is still run by the same family three generations on .
Have known about this place since it was started and this is the first time to visit, very enjoyable.
When in the area give it a go.
