点评:No need to repeat others - This is a superb aviation museum, excellent lay out, very informative sign boards (all in English as well as Italian) and friendly , helpful, knowledgeable staff.
It is , however, in a relatively isolated spot so without a car or an expensive taxi it is hard to get to. While we were there , there were only 2 or 3 other visitors which is a great shame because I estimate 50% of the aircraft on show are world unique - Schneider trophy races, Italian bomber/transports and float planes from WW2 and wonderful WW1 and interwar machines.
We took the train from central Rome to Valle Di Vigna and walked to the museum - this took about 25 mins - not the best road to walk on but Ok if you are careful (and back of course). There are no Taxis at Valle Di Vigna station and very very few buses which don't go to the station anyway!! The cafe in the museum is also an excellent reward when you get there with very reasonable prices.
If you are an aviation enthusiast make sure you do visit here - The museum was revamped a couple of years ago and it is on a par with Musee De L'Air and streets ahead of RAFM Hendon. (Perhaps the folks from Hendon could take a look at what a well laid out planned air museum looks like...)
