Get close up with the puffins plus white-tailed eagles from afar as a bonus

点评：We joined the puffin safari, starting from a ferry ride from Alesund to Hareid in the afternoon. There we were picked up by a van to go to the Runde bird centre. At the centre, the first course was a soup dinner, followed by watching a documentary about puffins. Maria, our guide then walked us through the museum and explained to us about birds in Runde. At around 7 pm, we started walked up the cliff. Initially, we could only see from the top some Northern Gannets and Skua flying along the coast down at the bottom.
Walking further along the top of the cliff, we started to see a small crowd looking up the sky. There was a few little black birds flying around. But as time passed, more and more puffins were flying back from the ocean and landing on the rocks. At one point, we also spotted white-tailed eagles hovering high above. They appeared to be hunting puffins! We stayed until around 9pm before walking down the cliff to catch the bus. All in all, very enjoyable evening! Had some closeup shots of puffins!
