I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent trip arrangements made through Thrillophilia for my visit to Malaysia from 13th December, 2024 to 18th December, 2024. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards I expected based on our agreement. Below average and lowest standards of accommodation provided.
1. Accommodation Issues:
The hotel Arena Star Luxury was in a super poor and unhygienic condition, contrary to the description provided during the booking. The cleanliness was unsatisfactory, and the facilities promised, such as room service, clean rooms, and swimming pool were either unavailable or not functional. The breakfast served was totally smelly and the same menu repeated every day, half of the things were not consumable. Pathetic food quality. Rude staff attitude when asked for cleaning the room or additional towels. There were large cockroaches in the room and bathroom. (video attached), when raised to the reception they denied that their hotel has any pests.
When asked for an electric kettle, I was handed over the kettle at the reception itself with zero service (Image attached). The phone in my room was not working, for every small thing I had to walk down to the reception. Even asking for fresh towels, we were asked to collect from the reception.
2. Mismanagement of Activities:
The planned activities were not well-organized. Specifically, Legoland, we were uninformed and misguided that it shall be a kid only amusement park. That day was completely a waste of time, money, energy and travel expenses additionally borne by us. This caused considerable inconvenience and disrupted our itinerary. KL tower tickets and arrangement was only shared with us once we asked them. There was no prompt response for our queries on the group as well.
Even after raising this issue to your support team, I have failed to get any response. I have been only receiving fake emails stating that my issue has been resolved.
Left with no option I shall have to use the Google and social media route to seek adequate resolution for my issue. Despite booking 5months in advance this is the support and service provided by Thrillophilia
This is all the more disappointing to deal with and follow up. You have kept no customer care contacts to connect directly also. Totally a failed and poor customer service.
