点评:As an English speaker traveling with young kids, this one’s a definite skip if you’re not there during harvest season (approximately September to November).
There is no production visibly in process, so the tour guide explains what you would see if you were there during harvest season.
After a video on the history of the factory, you’re led quickly through the static museum, then to the production area where the guide spends ~15 minutes at each of five or six production areas shouting at the tourists on a microphone, culminating in a ten-minute tasting of two cidres.
As you’d imagine, this did not hold the interest of a 6-year old or 9-year old, or even the fluent Spanish-speaking adults from our group.
This one could be very interesting and given the history of the factory, really feels like a missed opportunity. Our guide mentioned there’s a video on YouTube which shows production in action. It seems like it would be pretty easy to add video displays along the tour showing relevant portions of the video to those with the misfortune of visiting in the wrong season.
