A unique experience, with amazing views of Mount Fuji, gorgeous mountains, and the valley of hell!

点评：What a unique experience! We were staying in Gora, so it was an easy cable car ride up to the beginning of the ropeway, which is a gondola ride over the mountains. If you get a clear day, you get an amazing view of Mount Fuji. Also, one part of the ropeway travels over a volcanic valley.
The ropeway is included in the Hakone free pass, which is an amazing value where you could use every mode of transportation for free with the pass.
The route we took started in the mountains at the first station, which is beautiful and included a hot spring foot bath overlooking the mountain range and a cute café and gift shop. The middle station overlooks the volcanic “valley of hell “with Sulphur and volcanic gas rising, and amazing views of something that none of us have probably ever seen before. You can then continue on a second ropeway all the way down to lake Ashi. From there, you can take sightseeing boats on the lake.
If you are in the area, this is an amazing and unique experience
