Lovely animals, but sad environment
Elmvale Jungle Zoo的点评
点评：My family and I visited Elmvale Jungle Zoo recently, and while the place itself is not bad and we truly enjoyed seeing the animals, I couldn’t help but feel sad about their living conditions. For me, most of the animals didn’t seem happy — perhaps because many enclosures looked very small, old, and in poor condition. Some were so overgrown or filled with dry branches that you couldn’t even see the animals inside. Many enclosures felt abandoned, dull, and grey, which made it heartbreaking to look at the animals.
It feels like these animals deserve more space, more enrichment, and surroundings that recreate a more natural habitat. Simple things like toys, climbing structures, and fresh landscaping could make such a difference for their well-being.
The animals are beautiful and it was exciting to see them up close, but it truly broke my heart to see the conditions they live in. I hope the zoo can improve their habitats to create a more comfortable, engaging, and natural environment for them. Unfortunately, because of this, I wouldn’t want to return a second time.
