A great way to discover Sri Lanka
蓝色兰卡之旅的点评
点评：We spent two weeks travelling around Sri Lanka with Blue Lanka Tours in August 2026 and, overall, had a very good experience.
The organisation before the trip was excellent. The team was always attentive and responsive, and we designed the itinerary together with them, adapting it to the kind of trip we wanted to do.
A special mention has to go to our driver-guide, Pradeep, who was with us throughout the trip. He was friendly, reliable and always willing to help, as well as a very good and safe driver. He also has a great knowledge of Sri Lankan culture and local life, which added a lot to the experience. When you spend so many hours travelling together, having someone pleasant, flexible and easy-going makes a real difference.
The vehicle was comfortable and the logistics throughout the trip worked very well.
There are, however, a few things we would do differently in hindsight. Our flight arrived at around 2 a.m. after roughly 13 hours of travelling, and we then drove another three to four hours to Kalpitiya. When we arrived, we could not check into the hotel until around 6 or 7 a.m., which made for a very exhausting start to the trip. Looking back, we would definitely have preferred to spend the first night in Negombo, get some proper rest and start the journey the following morning.
We also spent our first two days in Kalpitiya and, having now seen the country, we would probably have devoted that time to central Sri Lanka, which for us was the most beautiful and interesting part of the island. Likewise, we spent our last two days in Bentota and would personally have preferred to spend more time around Mirissa and Galle, which we eventually visited on our own after the tour. That said, some of these choices are very much a matter of personal preference and difficult to judge before visiting a country for the first time.
The quality of the hotels was generally good, although somewhat uneven. In particular, our first hotel in Kalpitiya was disappointing and definitely did not feel like a four-star property: the mattresses were extremely soft and worn, with noticeable dips, and the overall standard was below what we expected. The rest of the accommodation was generally much better.
Overall, we felt the tour offered fair value for money and gave us the opportunity to discover very different parts of Sri Lanka in a comfortable and well-organised way. We would happily travel with Blue Lanka Tours again and would recommend them, particularly thanks to the excellent organisation and to Pradeep, who helped make the trip such an enjoyable experience.

我们在卡尔皮蒂亚也度过了最初的两天。如今见识了这个国家后，我们或许会把那段时间用来游览斯里兰卡的中部地区。对我们来说，那里是岛上最美丽也最有趣的地方。同样，我们在本托塔度过了最后两天，但就个人而言，我们更希望能在米里萨和加勒多待些时间；后来游览结束后，我们便独自前往了这两个地方。话虽如此，这些选择很大程度上取决于个人喜好，在初次前往一个国家之前很难做出判断。
