Rude staff Raj
新加坡动物园的点评
点评：Submitted a feedback via Singapore zoo website on 1 Oct with no response in 3 working days so I am posting this publicly.
I was met with a rude staff named Raj at Kidzworld. There was a area where I assumed guests can enter to pet the animals. One side is the ponies and the other side is the goats. Before entering, you have to wash your hands. So while I was doing that, Raj (standing at the pony side) was using his mobile phone the whole time.
The gate was unlocked so I assumed guests may enter as people were entering the gate over at the goat side. As I tried to open the gate, Raj snapped and shouted at me "YOU CANNOT COME IN HERE" in an aggressive tone and rolled his eyes at me before going back to using his phone. I apologized and walked away.
I understand the priority is the safety and well-being of the animals but there were no signs to indicate that the area was out of bounds. Secondly, it was unnecessary for the staff to be so rude when it was an honest mistake. The area was meant for children and families. If the attitude of the staff is so poor, please reconsider deploying him at Kidzworld or provide adequate training for staff to have basic manners or etiquette.
I have been a long-time supporter of Singapore Zoo. But because of this interaction, it has ruined my experience & impression of the Singapore Zoo. All zoo-goers please watch out as you may be scolded and disrespected unnecessarily while at Kidzworld.
