Memorable Kanha
Kanha National Park的点评
点评：We had heard about the mesmerizing beauty of the Kanha forest and in breadth read about the wonderful reviews about TravelGleam.
It was our second day in Kanha forest and we had Monu as our driver cum guide along with guide provided by MP Forest Official for the morning safari in Mukki zone. Our trip was on 23rd April'25.
We were 1 hour into the safari, when we came across couple of gypsies, which had spotted the tiger (Pattewala) and our first reaction was that we had missed on watching the tiger by few minutes.
Monu waited at that spot for sometime and then drove the gypsy to a road on which no other gypsy followed. To our great surprise we spotted the tiger (Pattewala) walking right in front of us.
Monu maintained the right distance between the gypsy and the tiger to ensure, the tiger did not get disturbed and move into the jungle. The best part was to follow soon after, when the tiger for a brief time, went into the bushes. All the gypsies went on a particular path and Monu took another path and parked the gypsy soon after a small stream. After a patient waiting, the tiger resurfaced and now we were in front of the tiger. What a view and amazing pictures we took for the next 30 minutes of the tiger.
We even watched DJ9 later in this trip but the wonderful experience of watching Pattewala is for ever engraved in our memory.
Watching a tiger has lot of luck in it but the way Monu was able to read the movement and make some amazing decision on spotting the tiger was outstanding.
