Extremely disappointing and unaccommodating

点评：Really disappointed with this pub. We wanted to watch the football and bring a dog with us. I phoned five days in advance to check they’d be playing the game and they’d be ok with the dog. Spoke to a really friendly lady who said both would be fine. When we arrived, we went into the saloon part (which is dog friendly) and asked if the game could be put on. Lady serving said she wouldn’t be able to put the game on as a group were about to use it for a meeting. We explained our disappointment and frustration due to being told in advance all would be ok. Had they communicated with us when I phoned that a meeting would be taking place, we would have made other plans. The lady serving was rude and clearly couldn’t care less. Her only suggestion was to sit in the smoking area (far too cold for that!) and wasn’t apologetic in the slightest. Fortunately for us there are plenty of other lovely pubs in Faversham that we’ll use next time instead of this pub.
