点评:Rick Martin (I believe that there may be a silent 'P' at the beginning of his first name) is not a welcoming host if you have had the displeasure of visiting this place. He seems to think that tourists owe him a living or that he is entitled to monetise the views that I believe belong to the national park and by extension Mother Nature.
The list of "Do This" and "Don't do that" are not really in keeping with the relaxed location. As a tip, walk a couple of minutes beyond this place and better views are afforded of the lake and the price to take a picture of the lake is the customary price of FREE!
When I took a picture from Faeryland (ironic name I'm sure) I was greeted with the welcome of (verbatim) "F--k sake, buy something from the kiosk before taking a picture" Needless to say, we didn't! We had a few choice words and we moved on. This soured the start to our morning but we continued exploring the beautiful area and town of Grasmere. It is a stunning part of the world and there are plenty of other local businesses that offer a warm welcome and don't swear at you for admiring the national park without their permission.
I would added a picture here but I didn't want to be charged for it so I didn't bother and saved myself a some money in the process.
I believe this place also sells their tea on eBay but make sure you have plenty of sugar in if the tea is as bitter as the owner.
