A spectacular waterfall
Aber Falls的点评
点评：Parked in the carpark, which cost £5 for all day. There are toilets at the start, by the pay machine. We arrived late morning and there wasn't much space left, so I'd recommend arriving early. The drive to the carpark is narrow with not many passing places. You can park at the bottom of the village (for free), this will add a further 2.4km to the walk.
The walk is a fairly easy one. If you are on the left-hand side of the river, you can follow the path and it'll take you straight to the waterfall. On route, you see sheep roaming so dogs must be on leads. You can see the falls from a slightly higher viewpoint on the right-hand side of the river. To do so, cross the small wooden footbridge and climb the steps.
There is a second waterfall called Rhaeadr Bach. This fall isn't as grand as Aber falls but is definitely worthy of a quick visit. To reach Rhaeadr Bach, go through the metal swing gate and follow the single track path that runs alongside the stone wall . The single-track path is bumpy and uneven that can get quite muddy. The path will bring you to the base of the waterfall where you will find a wooden footbridge.
To get back to your car retrace your steps to Aber falls, then back down the valley to your car.
Aber falls is a very impressive fall and it is definitely worth a visit!
