点评：What a surprise when we drove up to the entrance with guests, as we have for years till Covid hit, to find out that what used to be free was now $10 PP/$8 seniors! This is an outrageous charge even for seniors to pay! We will no longer include Dawes in our tour of the area with the many guests from all over the USA and Canada we will be having in the future.
After somewhat recovering from the shock, we reluctantly paid the fee, as we had already told our guests what to expect. We only found out about the senior rate after asking if there was one, to which the matter-of-fact reply was "You have to ask for it". How nice>
A much more reasonable fee would have been $5/$4 seniors, and still provided needed income without sacrificing much attendance. Whoever is responsible for this terrible decision should be held accountable!
