Komodo National Park的点评
点评：We visited Flores with the intended highlight of the trip to visit Komodo Island to see the Komodo Dragons
We arrived at the island and met up with the park ranger who advised us there weren’t many of the Komodo Dragons around as it was mating season “and they are making love for 4 - 6 hours a day”
We were one of the earliest boats to arrive but there were more boats packed with tourists arriving by the minute.
We set off on a path and we were lucky enough to see a young dragon crossing the path and going into the bush.
We then came across a large group of tourists surrounding an adult dragon that was either extremely tired, sedated or near death with lots of tourists trying to get the best selfie with the poor creature and the rangers loosing control of the crowd, despite trying their best. It could not of been a more unnatural experience
Flores itself and the surrounding islands are beautiful with great beaches and snorkelling which are truly worth a visit but from our experience I would not recommend Komodo National Park
