点评:Visited Kaal Bhairav Mandir, Ujjain around 12:30–1 PM on a Saturday. People say that before going to Mahakaleshwar, you should first come here and take permission from Bhairav Bhagwan, which makes this temple very significant.
The place was extremely crowded, and there is no VIP line, so it took us around 2–3 hours in the queue to finally get inside for darshan.
This temple is famous because alcohol is offered to Bhairav Bhagwan here. However, it is not available outside the temple premises as selling alcohol there is banned by the government. So if you want to offer it, buy it from outside the area and bring it with you.
The temple itself is small but beautiful, and the spiritual significance is very strong. While standing in the line, you can buy water bottles, but food options are not really available, so it’s better to be prepared before joining the queue.
If you are visiting on a weekend, be ready to spend 2–3 hours in line, but overall the experience and the faith around this temple make it worth visiting.
