Highlight of our Japan trip!

点评：I’d give this experience more than 5 stars if I could! My husband and I booked a homestay as part of our Japan trip, mainly hoping to learn more about Japanese culture. It ended up being the absolute highlight of our travels — one of the most genuine and heartwarming experiences we’ve ever had.
Communication with Asuka Tourism was excellent from the start; everything was well organized and seamless. We were picked up right at the train station and taken on a short scenic drive through the rice fields, complete with a little tour of Asuka. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
At the office, we met our wonderful homestay hosts, who then drove us to their home. We were welcomed into their home with warmth and love. We cooked lunch together, did a tea ceremony, and hung out with the family.
I was initially a bit nervous about the language barrier, but after a few tries, communication through Google Translate worked seamlessly. Before long, we were laughing and joking together!
I can’t recommend this experience highly enough — it’s a truly special way to connect with Japanese culture and experience the warmth of its hospitality.
