点评：Enjoyed this trip up the mountain. We booked Gold Class and it was worth the extra spend. Cold drinks and food on the way up plus larger seats and your own dedicated host (thank you Vivian). An informative voice over system on the way up made sure you knew what was coming (photo ops, tunnels etc) so you never miss a thing. The views are amazing once you get out of the city and start the climb. The food was high quality and we enjoyed sparkling wine, beer and soft drinks on the way up.
Some things to note. This is an open window train, so no air-con - if you are travelling in summer in Cairns, bring a fan as it can get very very hot. Seats are pre-booked so you don't need to sit on a hot train to keep them safe! We parked at Cairns Central and got the train from there - catching the skysail back and a bus back to the car. It took a full day.
