点评：The gentle rise of the micro-pub around many towns has been lurching ever onwards and it is with great pleasure that I finally made my way to this one. Very far from "scruffy" as one reviewer curiously described the newly opened and freshly decorated place, it is scattered with curios, bar games and ephemeral albums and the vibe is one of relaxing in aspects of a homely environment reinforced by a wholly friendly and personable approach from behind the bar. I arrived before my friends and struck up multiple effortless conversations with other people in the bar as I waited.
There is a record player here and you are welcome to bring your own vinyl to play and share. There is also a not unreasonable amount of records for sale that are normally playing too and those are cycled through regularly so there's always going to be something new to keep you coming back there.
The section of ciders is very decent and the beers on tap are all quality, with a particularly nice stout. I hope in time they may expand the bottles/cans section to bring more choice for the adventurous beer hunter as these are good times for craft beers and help keep folk coming back to explore. We'll be back at any rate and looking forwards to it!
