This boat ride was the highlight of my time within Gros Morne National Park.

点评：I booked this boat tour well in advance; it was expensive, but it was worth its price. I parked in a big parking lot, and I had to walk about two (2) miles to this area where we found the boat; a golf-cart could be taken for a fee. I saw some frogs and a few birds along the way. Even from the parking lot, the views were amazing. The views reminded me of Yosemite Valley with water. It was important to wear warm clothes. The staff was quite friendly and informative, but I had to stand during this whole two (2)-hour boat ride, since there were not enough seats to accommodate all of the passengers. This boat had an outer deck on the top, and the below portion had parts that were both inside and outside. We passed many beautiful mountain tops, many of which still contained snow in the later part of May. The water had a beautiful color. We even saw a few waterfalls and we were advised of certain previous rock spills. The scenery was truly out of a movie. The captain told us that these mountains were technically not fjords, since they lacked saltwater at this time.
