Our appreciation to tasting room staff member named Dawn

点评：My special thanks to one very lovely lady, the member of the tasting room personnel.
Her name is Dawn.
It was on last Sunday, June2,2024 my husband and I had lunch at the Bistro restaurant. It was our 52nd wedding anniversary. Not only was the staff very obliging, attentive and the meals enjoyable, but when leaving the restaurant, we've been asked to stop at their tasting room. Our daughter who lives in Edmonton called in with her credit card number and wanted to buy the bottle of wine we like there as a gift for us.
Dawn asked the more senior staff member to help with the whole transaction input into a computer, but she was informed it is against the boss's policy. The payment must be done on line or a payer with a credit card must be present. I understood and said we will pay ourselves because this particular wine is our favorite. Dawn said no, I will get it for you. It will be my personal gift for you since I don't have my mother anymore. I was very touched to say the least. It was a very unexpected and emotional moment.
Good people still live among us and we would be very happy if the owner or the management of Chaberton Estate Winery Langley recognize Dawn, the lovely, goodhearted, generous and giving lady for her humanity, which made our day even more special.
