Condescending butcher

点评：As a regular patron of the farm shop and cafe, I called in to purchase some fat or lard to make some seed cake for the birds from the butchery. I was told that they would have to charge me £25 per kilo - the same price as beef. I agreed that was too expensive to make a treat for the birds. Which up until this point was fair enough. I was then told, by a tall, dark haired man, who i had presumed to be in charge of the butchery, that " you do not shop here and if you were spending £200 on meat, i would give you some free of charge". How did this man come to the conclusion that i did not shop there? Did he know every customer by sight? And actually i have shopped both in the farm shop and have been a regular customer of the cafe. I was made to feel like a second class citizen, when treated in this condescending manor, by someone who looked at me and made an assumption that the likes of me would not shop there. Had I not been so upset, I would have taken the time to have told him, that he was in fact talking down to the owner of a well known leisure and holiday establishment, who, has up until now sent many of our guests to the farm shop and promoted it on our website. Never again, will I, or any of my guests darken your door.
