Lamb bottle feeding and cuddles!

点评：I love lambing time and have been to places both before and after covid... and I must say this is one of the best times I've had (even on a torrential rain day)
The barns are inside sheep and lambs (the donkeys and cows are outside) so under shelter and there is even a tea barn to buy a coffee and cake after which is a huge bonus!
We got so much time with the animals and they were all very friendly. Shona is a vet and lives on the farm with her husband Craig. You can tell the animals are well looked after and Shona knows her stuff.
The lambs we bottle fed were all orphaned so hand reared which I love as it means they are super friendly and used to human contact and you feel like your helping the farmer and giving them a rest from bottle feeding hungry lambs. Usually it's extra to bottle feed the lambs at other places if your even allowed at all which is why we picked craigbank!
We also had lots of time for photos and didn't feel rushed at all and had so many amazing cuddles. My 3 year old was very wary at first to hold the lambs but because we had enough time she got brave and her we face says it all!
I'm not sure who had more fun! The toddler, teenager or adults!
Coffee and cake was a nice touch to spend a bit more time at the farm and let the kids settle after all the fun before getting back in the car.
