An absolutely brilliant day - highly recommended
Woolly Experiences Therapy Farm的点评
点评：We booked the Ultimate Experience and had an absolutely brilliant day. It was important to us to visit somewhere where the animals were rescued, cared for and will be loved for the rest of their lives.
Zia greeted us upon arrival and introduced us to the alpacas we would be walking (Huey, Louie and Dewey). I got to walk Huey, who was an absolute sweetheart (he kept sniffing my face) and walked so well. We met the sheep (Bob, Oreo and Heidi, who shared my name) and did the carrot kiss challenge with Cookie (while Hugo was distracted).
We met Cupcake and Clementine, the miniature donkeys and Maisie who is an impressively large donkey!
We headed back and met Ramboo the sheep and alpacas Bean, Bowie, Sweep, Benji, Winnie and Peter.
We each held and stroked a therapy chicken until they fell into a micro-nap (I had Chilli). We left in love with Daisy the dog. Accomodation is also available in a self-contained farm cottage.
£78 for myself and my partner to spend 90 minutes with some brilliant animals was an absolute bargain. So much time, effort and love goes into an experience that gives so much and asks for so little for the privilege (including animal assisted therapy for care homes, children's hospitals and nursing homes). We live 4 hours away and would return to do it again.
