点评：Our camping experience at Minisink campground was an overall good one. It had a beautiful view of the Delaware river and the tree line on the Pennsylvania side. We saw a bald eagle land in a nest that was in our direct line of sight. Our kids, ages 5 and 2, especially enjoyed finding crawfish and frogs in the river and wading in the shallow water. The river was a short walk from our campsite. The campsite was clean and well maintained. The bathrooms/ showers were within easy walking distance as well. I also liked that the customer service was readily available and the staff were kind and great with enforcing campground rules. I especially felt safe knowing that there was security available through out the night. My dislikes were: the campsites are right next to each other, giving you no privacy. So close, you can hear each others conversations. Our intention was to get away from people and spend time together and bond as a family. And having people so close was uncomfortable. Also, on the day before were were set to leave, some new neighbors had dogs running lose and not tending to their bathroom needs, allowing them to run free and urinate on all of our camping equipment which included a canopy, tent, and portable bathroom. This caused us to cut our trip short. Another thing I didn’t like was the noise during the night. The campsite is directly off a busy road so any passing by was easily heard. I would be sure to take ear plugs on our next trip. All in all, not a perfect trip, but my kids enjoyed themselves, which made it all worth it!
