A Very Rare and Unique Experience with Proceeds Going Back To The Community

点评：We couldn’t have asked for a more genuine, authentic and honest experience. We met many members of the CBAPU (Community Based Anti Poaching Unit who are a voluntary youth group) and were taken to the Community Forest, checked out camera traps, stayed at one of the local Dalla homestays, saw the community nursery (designed to reduce human wildlife conflict by negating the need to go into the forest), went on safari in the jungle (even though we only did one day, we saw everything except a leopard) and to top it all off, we stayed in the community treehouse! The treehouse is incredible - it's extremely well built and a type of safari in itself. This really is an experience not to be missed. Everyone you interact there is so kind and passionate about what they do.
You’d pay a lot of money elsewhere for anything close to what we did here in Bardiya with Wild Trails. We did all of this with our two young kids and they were very accommodating. A lot of the proceeds go back into conservation efforts in the community, which you can witness directly on the ground.
We would highly recommend them and will go with Wild Trails again when we return. If you’re thinking of doing anything in or around Bardiya National Park, this is who you should go with. They’re very well connected and can help facilitate anything you’d like to do and more! These are local experiences, with locals. The work the CBAPU do is fascinating and this is part of helping to keep the whole organisation sustainable. This kind of experience is very hard to find these days.
