点评：We had the most gorgeous day exploring this wild and magical place.
Richard is a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, passionate and keen to point out everything from vole bones in barn owl poo to tiny partridge chicks hiding in long grass, various stages of rewilding around the estate and the heavenly scent of bog myrtle.
I don’t think there was a single question we had that Richard couldn’t answer and inspire more curiosity with.
To go walking in Northumberland is always a pleasure but to get such a feel for the land is a true privilege.
And to then have it all topped off with a delicious lunch of local produce and a well mixed gin & tonic followed by another loop up to Witchy Nick with folklore tales a plenty made for the most perfect day.
Cannot wait to come back in autumn, winter and spring to experience Hepple Wild again and again.
Call of the wild indeed…
