点评：We met Nate at the Stupa of Enlightenment right at sunset. It gave us the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful sunset along with the tranquility of the location. While the western light was fading, Nate shared stories and facts from the region. The history of the people along with the fascinating geology of the valley helped to add context to the experience. Once the sky darkened enough, Nate prepared the Night Vision Goggles and we each received a set. Of note, the usual limit for these experiences is two people and this limit definitely made a difference for us. We reclined in the provided zero gravity chairs and bundled up in the provided blankets. While we explored the sky and the depth into the stars delivered by the NVGs, Nate continued to share interesting facts and stories pertinent to what we were experiencing. The number of satellites and other moving objects in the sky visible with the NVGs was astounding. As the sunset glow finally diminished in the west, the Milky Way was clearly visible with the naked eye and was even more dramatic with the NVGs. We were fortunate to have a clear sky and no moon. Nate contacted us a few days before our booking and offered a backup day if the weather did not cooperate. The communication was exceptional and the experience was unforgettable. Thank you Nate!
