Karoo Origins - The Fossil Centre的点评
点评：A Geology Group from Knysna consisting of 33 members were taken on a very informative conducted tour of the Fossil Museum by Professor Bruce Rubidge a globally respected palaeontologist.
The Karoo Origins - Fossil Centre in Graaff-Reinet was opened to the public in 2025 and contains the Rubidge family's unique collection of fossils from the Karoo area, including the biggest collection of unique species in the world.
The exhibition is to say the least, "World Class" in every respect. The representation of evolution is sequenced in such a way that it is appealing and clearly understood by all visitors. This was made possible by the accurate design, planning and development of the entire exhibition.
The walk around the exhibition concludes with an outstanding video representation that reflects the most likely scenario of what life was like on Planet Earth during that period.
It us highly recommended that you either plan your travel routes to include a pass-thru of Graaff-Reinet or if you are passing through, then a " must visit" stop.
