点评:We went on Friday at 11.30 for a tasting.Lucky to be met by Patrick McGrath who welcomed us and with Pierre-Emmanuel Taitinger together were the inspiration behind the the 60 hectair vinyard and Winery.
The delightful Hariet also greeted us offering water on arrival which was welcome.
We then were invited to the tasting room behind the front desk and were introduced to the sparkling wine by the charming Jeremy Wilson who was very informative and amusing.
We thoroughly enjoyed the wine offered, so much so we purchased 6 bottles.
Jeremy told us the building was 45 metres deep, I actually priced the structure in 2020 and revisited the drawings, the building is actually 15 metres from the top of the roof to the basement floor which is 45 feet not metres.
We would like to have visited the cellar below, but they have not been open very long.
We hope when we return we can purchse some glasses and perhaps a tee shirt as we did when visiting Mumm Champagne in France.
Only thing that needs addressing is signage, there is no such place as Chalk Hill and New Cut Road where the entrance to the winery is is also not signed, so will not get casual visitors.
