Tapeley Park Gardens的点评
点评：Smallish compared to other more well known gardens in the area. However it is “tardis” like and packs a lot of interesting plants and elements into a small area.
From the formality and manicured borders of the Italian Terrace to the wild natural beauty of the woodland walk to the lake (word of caution the path is steep) there is something for everyone to enjoy.
A peaceful oasis to enjoy wandering around for several hours with a fabulous view across to Instow and Appledore from the monument.
The cafe may not be to everyone’s taste - choices for our preferences were limited (ie mushrooms which we don’t on many dishes) - but what we did eat was delicious. Falafel was v tasty and the carrot cake a real treat. Even the “gone wrong” caramel slice was deliciously gooey.
Pot of tea for two was a little on the small side as it only really gave 3 smallish cups between us. These are small points and did not detract from a very enjoyable day.
