点评：Very disappointed with the pricing policy. We had to pay £7.50 just to book a strawberry picking slot, only to discover that this fee is no longer deducted from the cost of the fruit picked.
For 3.85kg of strawberries, we paid £30.61, and with the £7.50 booking fee added on, the total cost came to £38.11 just to pick strawberries ourselves. At nearly £10 per kg once the booking fee is factored in, it feels poor value for money.
Previous visits were much better when the booking fee was redeemable against your purchase. I understand the need to manage visitor numbers, but charging customers simply for the opportunity to spend money in your fields feels like double charging.
The strawberries were good quality, but the pricing left a sour taste. There are plenty of PYO farms that either don’t charge an entry fee or deduct it from what you buy. Unfortunately, this experience has made me think twice about returning.
