Busy. Expensive. Disappointing
NAU Morgado Golf Course的点评
点评：Morgado has two courses which are very good. Morgado is quite wide whilst Alamos is hillier and maybe more interesting. There is not much else to do apart from the golf and the location is in the hills above Portimao so without a car you will be stuck on site. There is no evening entertainment.
Be aware the courses are very busy. Fully expect a 5 hour round. Buggys are 50 euros! No water or GPS. The only option to get around quickly is to take the 7.30 tee time. Breakfast is served from 7 do its pretty tight getting to the tee. The place is dominated by large groups. So if you are playing as a couple it is likely you will get paired up. Most likely with a very pleasant but elderly northern European couple of limited ability. If you need water on the course then they will charge 3 euros for a 1/2 litre bottle! The same bottle in the local supermarket 29 cents!
The Breakfast is fine. Dinner is either a buffet costing 35 euros or the bar menu which stops serving at 7. If you have a car you can try one of the local restaurants futher afield. The cost of the bar food is far too high and the choice very limited. We have visited in the past and the food was a highlight. Unfortunately not any more. 14 euros for 7 meagre chicken wings! No garnish no chips!
The rooms are big mainly look over the golf course but lack furnishings. Some have balconies so request when booking. There is a Delta coffee machine in the room with 2 pods provided. Not 2 per day just 2! And if you want more its 1.5 euros each!! Really.
Morgado has obviously decided to go for the group market and squeeze every last euro out of the guests. With over crowded courses no marshalls to keep the pace up and very disappointing and expensive food I can not recommend.
