Interesting - but could be better

点评：We enjoyed our visit to the mill but did find the layout a bit confusing as some of the machinery used at the start of the process such as carding is physically sited on the factory floor near machinery used at the end of the process such as the looms.
There are QR codes dotted about to provide information but it tends to just name the machinery, its’ age and origin rather than describe or show how it was used or how many people it took to operate it or maintain it for example. Some were self explanatory, others were not.
A diagram with processing steps numbered in sequence would have made it easier to comprehend.
There are also few details about the workforce, numbers of workers, pay or conditions so whilst it was great to see the original factory and machinery in situ, I felt there could have been a lot more information presented here to enhance the experience.
There are of course, guided tours, but not many off season or perhaps not fitting with your schedule for a visit.
