A Stately Home like no other - a piano recital par excellance

点评：Another fabulous and unique visit to Hammerwood, this time to hear a piano recital by Johanna de Cloitre. Proffessor of Music at the Conservetoire de Nice.
David Pinnegar is a man who is "in contact" with many interresting and acclaimed musicians and regularly arranges recitals at his home, Hammerwood Park.
Amongst his many other interrest he restors Historic Instrument and is internationally known for his Tuning of Pianos - but no ordinary or conventional tuning!
On Saturday afternoon we sat amongst the wonderfful chaos of his music room and listened to Johanna playing Debussy on a Bechstein piano and to Mozart on an 1802 Stodart.
For the princly sum of £20 (plus donations if you so choose) you too can enjoy this unique experience, and afterwards enjoy a glass of sparking wine 'and' home made cake but be sure to book as places are VERY limited.
Yet again an afternoon of glorious, crazy fun!!
