点评：I have visited Robert Thompson’s many times and after reading reviews though I may share my experience. I was welcomed by a lady on the desk and had a chat and received such a lovely service. I must add that on the Robert Thompson’s website and on Google it does state clearly that the visitor Centre is temporarily closed and includes the full opening hours of the different parts to the business and this was easy to understand in my opinion. I telephoned ahead to ask about certain items in stock and was advised by a member of staff. I also visited on a Saturday morning and I believe that the Family have kept the original opening hours from when Robert Thompson ran it and have continued to do the same which I think is very refreshing as it is not a generic high street store and these businesses are few and far between. I even treated myself to a few items. I was offered a choice of items and chose the mouse and grain I liked the most by a young lady and her Mum that are related to Robert Thompson himself, I think she said 6th generation from the man himself. I was helped and advised how to look after the items I have previously purchased and also the new pieces too. This is still a family business ( which is incredible after 100 years ). You can buy online which is ideal when I am back in London but I really enjoyed picking my mouse myself on my holiday . Thank you for an enjoyable experience and I shall be back again soon.
