点评：Came here recently whilst on holiday with my husband. It’s a giant long strip wall to wall with shops so is a shoppers paradise. It is definitely worth going for the experience if nothing else but please be warned that the vendors will do absolutely anything to get you in their shops…. Examples include ‘oh you are from the x hotel, I was your waiter last night’ or ‘come in and have a free shot of tequila’ or ‘would you like some Charlie’. The shops are over priced and to be fair most of it is is tat! TIP- There are plenty of genuine shops worth looking around where you won’t be hassled, but, it would be cheaper to buy the items back home.
There are individuals with monkeys asking to take your photo to profiteer from it, we hate this as it’s cruel and I hope the government realise that this needs to stop and it was never acceptable but especially not in 2025!!
You can go down to the beach whilst there which is a nice break from all the shop keepers - unfortunately, due to the environment it was full of sargassum so not somewhere we could explore for long due to the smell.
It is worth going for the experience but it is not somewhere worth revisiting again in our opinion. Please just have your wits about you!
