点评：Delta has clearly done its homework with this debut. After experiencing this new Delta One Lounge at JFK, it’s evident they have leapfrogged Polaris and Flagship to reclaim the top spot in the US biz lounge game.
Ambiance: The design is elegant and modern, feeling more like a fancy hotel lobby than an airport terminal. It retains the signature Delta Sky Club 'scent' and branding but takes the luxury up several notches. It is clean, sophisticated, and arguably the most high-end interior in their network.
Crowding: Exclusivity varies by time of day. During the morning or late night, the space is serene, and you’ll have no trouble finding prime seating on the outdoor terrace or near the fireplace. However, mid-day crowding is noticeable. While you can still find a seat, the lounge loses the exclusive feel, and wait times for the Brasserie (their fine dining) and the spa increase significantly.
Amenities: This lounge checks almost every major box: exclusive entrance and security, a full buffet, sit-down fine dining, spacious shower suites, a mini wellness spa, and direct gate access for some flights. Although it lacks a dedicated kids' play area or family room, this reinforces the adult, 'quiet luxury' vibe of the brand.
Dining: The Market buffet offers high-quality options, but the Brasserie is the highlight. The menu isn't massive, but the execution is superb and the dishes are genuinely enjoyable. Service in the dining room was great, comparable to a solid fine dining restaurant. It’s not Michelin-level, but for a business class lounge, it is exactly where it needs to be.
Overall, Delta has proven they understand the modern luxury traveler. This product has a major sway in my decision-making: if I’m flying out of JFK, I'd choose Delta or its partners just to access this lounge. It is currently the best lounge experience I’ve had with any airline.
