Disappointing experience.
Crabwall Manor Hotel and Spa的点评
点评：My wife and I booked an afternoon tea for the two of us. We do afternoon teas very often and have visited many hotels and restaurants for tea. Well, I have to say this was by far the . . . . . . . . . worst one we have ever had. The coffee was lukewarm. The sandwiches were small and miserly, The scones were like missiles they were so hard. The cakes on the top plate were uninviting and pitiful to look at with the exception of the chocolate cake which was acceptable. The staff though were pleasant and helpful. The waitress said I was the second one that day who complained about the coffee being cold. We overheard a young couple on the next table complain about the coffee. The second cup i had after complaining was much hotter and stronger. WE were offered a box to take our uneaten cakes away but we, for the first time ever, refused, no thank you.
翻译：我和妻子预订了双人下午茶。我们经常享用下午茶，也去过很多酒店和餐厅品茶。不过不得不说，这次绝对是我们迄今为止体验过的最糟糕的一次。咖啡温温的，三明治又小又少得可怜；司康饼硬得简直像炮弹一样。上面盘子里的蛋糕看起来毫无吸引力，惨不忍睹——只有巧克力蛋糕还算可以。不过，工作人员很友善且乐于助人。女服务员说，我是当天第二个抱怨咖啡太凉的顾客。我们还听到旁边桌的一对年轻情侣也在抱怨咖啡的温度。在提出意见后，我喝到的第二杯咖啡要热得多，味道也更浓。店员还主动给我们提供了一个盒子，让我们把没吃完的蛋糕带走，但我们破天荒地拒绝了，说道：“不用了，谢谢。”
