点评：I’ve done a two days tour starting from Mosul and ending in Erbil, on the first day Hatra and the center of Mosul, on the second day Alqosh (the monastery is closed), Lalish and Mar Mattai. Hatra and Mar Mattai are absolutely worth a visit. It’s a pity that many attractions in Iraq are closed for restoration indefinitely. Another pity is that in Lalish there isn’t any museum/exposition/information about the yazidi religion and culture, just some gatekeeper explaining a few things.
Moomen has helped me with the hotel in Mosul (good and cheap choice) and escorted me through all the checkpoints, nothing to be worried but a lot of time lost.
I’ve paid just for the tour 300$ traveling alone, I think a correct price.
He is young and he will improve but he knows a lot of tricks to make the tour smooth.
