Disappointing visit despite lovely-looking café

点评：We stopped here on a long journey as the café looked lovely and, importantly, we’d read that there were indoor play facilities for children. With little ones in tow, we first sat outside so they could play. The outdoor play area was okay, but it was surrounded by old plastic toys that had definitely seen better days.
As it began to rain, we went into the play barn, hoping for better – unfortunately, it was much the same. The barn was full of tired plastic cars and toys that didn’t look like they had ever been cleaned, and I didn’t feel comfortable letting my child play there. We swiftly left.
On top of that, the toilets appeared to just be porta-loos, which was not ideal on a long journey, so we avoided them.
Overall, the café itself looks fancy and inviting, but the facilities for children and families were really disappointing. Not quite what we were hoping for, especially given we had made a special stop here.
