Colourful, imaginative and worth a visit
Il Mosaico de La Caletta的点评
点评：Tuesday 22nd July we visited the seaside town of La Caletta on the eastern coast of Sardinia.
We took the opportunity to walk around the Town's Port. One of the walls of the Port walls is imaginatively decorated with colourful artwork, mosaics and ceramic figures.
This colourful spectacle stretches for 185 metres along the Port walls. It was created by the artist by Mimmo Bove with contributions from the local community, associations and school children.
In various colourful art forms it displays all forms of sea, animal, bird life associated with Sardinia.
There are plaques on a number of the pictures which tells where the contribution has come from.
As we walked around here we could also see Torre di San Giovanni along the coast.
