点评：My husband and I went with three friends. We all had a wonderful, magical experience at this Cocoa farm.
Luis is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of making chocolate, from planting the trees to eating the delicious chocolate. It was a fascinating education and delicious as well.
I never knew what a cocoa tree looked like. I never knew that you could eat the fruit of it raw, right off the tree! And it was delicious, although it tasted nothing like chocolate.
We harvested ripe fruit, we ate ripe fruit, we drank the raw cocoa juice we learned how the beans are fermented and roasted, and then we made chocolate from them! What a fascinating day we spent. Now I know why it is considered the food of the gods.
And their farms is completely beautiful and magical. What they’ve created there is a wonderful treat to enjoy. Luis was very generous with his time and his knowledge and we all look forward to going back again.
I recommend it for all ages. And if you have guests coming to visit Ecuador, this is a place you definitely want to take them.
If more than five stars were available, I would give it all the stars!
