Not a tour, just transportation to Cayo Arena for snorkelling

点评：Janel Tours to Cayo Arena at 08:30 for our Cayo Arena snorkelling tour.
The speed boat sat 12 so having only 7 was pleasant. I assumed Gabriel would take the tour but no, two very young local men. Left at 08:40 and went straight to the island (one quick look at a natural swimming hole in the middle of the bay). Very bumpy and fast so maybe 20 minutes... The island is beautiful, tiny, one little circle of sand surrounded by a reef. Four tiny open sided thatched huts. We took over one and were quickly in the water snorkelling. It was really nice. Stayed until just past 10:30 then back in the boat headed to the mangrove shore line where the boat captain showed off his prowess driving fast and close to the trees and we were back on shore just past 11.
The two young men only spoke Spanish so a nice guest from Madrid on the boat kindly translated for us, not that they said much..... For both of us it cost 3000 pesos for 2 1/2 hours. It was nice but it wasn't a tour, really just transportation to the island and back with snorkelling equipment if you needed it.
