A unique wine experience with a convivial & knowledgeable wine expert...one not to be missed!

点评：What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Penedes. Our host and wine expert, Alexandra picked us up in Sitges and from there we visited Rovellats, a cava producer with 50 hectares of its own certified organic vineyards. The estate itself is set in a picturesque enclave with medieval architectural remains dating from between the 10th-15th centuries. We tasted some exceptional cavas and visited the radial cellar, 12 meters below ground.
From here the tour continued at Alexandra's villa, and started with a welcome drink from one of the most renowned wineries in the Cava sector followed by lots of fun educational games that test the senses and your wine/grape knowledge! An absolute feast of typical homemade Spanish fare awaited us on the terrace accompanied by tastings of some unusual Spanish wines from her cellar that you wouldn't ordinarily have the opportunity to try. We were also treated to an unexpected visit to the vineyard at the bottom of her beautiful garden where Alexandra shared her vast knowledge of the flora and fauna growing around the vineyard plus the vineyard itself.
I would highly recommend this unique tour.
