Severe Water Pollution at Both Golden Beach and Paradise Beach

点评：I recently visited both Golden Beach and Paradise Beach in Thassos, and unfortunately, the water conditions were extremely disappointing and concerning.At Golden Beach, the seawater turns brown about 10 meters from the shore and this extends along the entire beach. When entering the water, an oily and sticky layer remains on the skin, which is both unpleasant and worrying from a health perspective. This clearly appears to be pollution, possibly caused by boat discharges or other waste entering the sea.
At Paradise Beach, I encountered a similar situation. There was a visible oily film floating on the surface, along with foam and an unpleasant smell. The water looked unsafe for swimming and far from what you would expect at a popular tourist destination.Both beaches are beautiful in appearance, but the current water quality is far below acceptable standards. I strongly recommend that visitors check recent reviews before planning a visit, as these conditions can seriously affect the experience.I truly hope the local authorities take immediate action to investigate and resolve this environmental issue.
