点评:Beautiful trail, fantastic bridge with an extra benefit of public art enlivening the experience, good food near trailheads at Woodward and Madrid.
The only downside of the biking experience was the number of people who sailed down the trail blasting music for all to "enjoy." Probably every sixth or r seventh bike had music playing from a phone or other device, loudly.
We go into the woods for peace and tranquility, and to experience nature (and to get some exercise!). We're great music lovers, but we did not go on the trail to hear music blaring behind and in front of us while we were trying to enjoy our ride. There are things called headphones and earbuds, right? Why did so many people think they had the right yo share their music with the rest of the world?
My husband said something like, "can you turn your music down?" to a guy biking past him, to which the guy replied, "suck it up, [profanity]!" Sigh. Noisy AND rude, to boot.
We hope to experience the trail again, but will go on a weekday to minimize the number of people and hopefully, the amount of music being broadcast in our space.
