A vineyard and wine-tasting tour which is worth the time and money

点评：Peter gave us a very informative tour of the vineyard including interesting facts about viticulture and cider apple growing as well as providing us with 'morsels' of information about the local area and his vineyard's contribution to the UK's wine production. This vineyard tour was followed by a warm and friendly welcome by Peter's wife Julia and his daughter-in-law Laura in the vineyard shed where we sampled six excellent wines accompanied by delicious canapés and where we enjoyed a relaxing time overlooking the lovely Worcesteshire countryside, learning more about the Abberley Hills vineyard wines and which foods they can be paired with. Even if you do not generally like a range of wines, a visit to Abberley Hills vineyard is well worth the time and money as it will give you a good understanding of the value of British (and for us, local) wines and how we can support our country's wine producers by purchasing their wines and by helping to 'spread the word' about their wine production.
