Planetary Trail - Wild Skies Shetland的点评
点评：We were fortunate to visit during Unst fest when the Wild Skies Shetland team put on a guided tour of the planetary trail.
For our space mad and outdoor loving eldest daughter (6) this was such a fantastic thing to have done. The whole thing was great. The guide was knowledgeable and spoke to our eldest without talking down to her, the group dynamic was really nice with the other visitors. The trail itself is really enjoyable and the different stops informative (the different designs/creations for the planets are also excellent). We all also found that the gaps being to scale demonstrated perfectly how vast our solar system is.
The scenery is excellent, likewise the variety of wildlife. The bench at the end is a nice spot for a drink and a snack. The cliffs are great viewing slightly further on (though steep and sudden, so be mindful of this, particularly if with kids), as are the views across to Hermaness and Muckle Flugga.
All in all it’s an excellent place to visit, offering lots of interest for all.
