点评：I was the designated driver so I wasn’t expecting to have such a good time. However…
From the minute we registered at reception I realised this wasn’t going to be like the other distillery/brewery/winery tours I’d done before. Our host, Rod, was there with the cheeky banter from the get go, made everyone feel welcome and at ease and was extremely knowledgeable of the processes, investment in other local businesses and farms and was loaded with stories of the history of the products and in the weird and wacky way they have been promoted over the years.
The others said the wine and cider tasting was fabulous and for the for the non drinkers there was sparkling elderflower and sparkling rhubarb which were simply sublime 😍
We’re lucky enough to live locally so will definitely be back for more…
